Best Wifi Extender for Ring Camera – The first thing that you should know about Wi-Fi range extenders is that they will not boost your speeds or make your general internet better. Let’s say you have an ISP that gets you a 100Mb download and you get an extender that can handle around 500Mbps.
The extender would only output a maximum of 100Mb since that’s the speed your ISP provides. When buying an extender it’s always a good idea to buy one with a higher speed threshold. That way you’re avoiding the hassle of having to upgrade in the future when you gain access to better internet.
Now Wi-Fi extenders won’t always work as planned. In fact, under certain circumstances, an extender will actually give off a slightly weaker internet signal with slower speeds. It has everything to do with where you place the extender in relation to your router.

This extender is able to support up to 1200Mbps, which is good news for you if you have internet speeds that fast. This is probably the most different looking extender that we’ve had on the list for a couple of reasons. First, there are no antennas on the sides of this extender. And the display is a lot smaller, instead only showing tiny lights on the top that can be hard to read. This is a bit of a step back from the clearer displays and might be annoying for you as a result.
